TRAINING TIP TUESDAY - STICK WALKING

This time of year slot of you are getting back into running on hard surfaces.
Looking after your feet is crucial to help prevent injury over the long term. Often injuries will occur due to issues further down the chain.
Starting by taking care of your feet is the perfect place to start. Grab a dowel stick or barbell, lay it flat on the ground. March forward and backward across the sole of your feet.
This will be painful.
Aim to do this for at least 60 seconds 3-4 times per day.
