Beginning in 2016, Angelo has been involved in High Performance as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, and as an assistant in Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation in athletic populations. In his last 3 years of coaching, he has worked closely with Collingwood Football Club as part of the High-Performance Staff within the AFLW and VFLW competitions. Here he has utilised a range of training methods that have aided in increasing athletic strength, power and speed, and reducing rates of soft tissue injuries.
Upon the completion of his degree, he has not only been active in his approach to exercise science by completing multiple internships within high performance centres specialising in youth athletic populations in multiple sports, but he has also taught within the Bachelors of Exercise and Sports Science degree, presenting current research and practical based studies to prospective exercise science students in a digestible manner.
Along with coaching the key fundamentals involved in resistance and cardiovascular based training for all types of individuals, he places great emphasis on making the most of each session and engaging with everyone! Aiding in developing and achieving any individuals real life goals (whether it is performance based or not) is something Angelo strives to assist with!
