Strength and Conditioning Internship

Momentum Performance Training is currently taking applications for a 12-week (April-July) unpaid internship program designed to help you progress in your career as a strength and conditioning coach / personal trainer. This position will be ideal for a candidate that is currently completing a Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science and/or a Certificate IV in Fitness. This position will require a minimum time commitment of 3 x 3-hour practical  sessions per week and 1 hour of theory per week to be completed at Momentum Performance Training. Additionally the internship will have recommended readings provided over the course of the 12 weeks.

  • Athlete Screening / Performing A Needs Analysis
  • Program Design / Theoretical Training Concepts
  • Technical Aspects of Coaching
  • Return to Play Protocols
  • Business Development / Career Path Development
