While these are Nathan’s formal qualifications, his work ethic and tenacity is built on his solid foundation of personal qualities of being:
These qualities are absolutely essential for someone who is trying to push people out of their comfort zones and into the health and fitness mindset and lifestyle they want to achieve.
Nathan has participated in high level competitions rubbing shoulders with the best of the best in sports.
From his Australian Rules football involvement to olympic, ironman and 1/2 ironman distance participation, Nathan has the experience and reputation for being an elite athlete.
Nathan ensures that he and the team at Momentum PT are in involved in running regular charity training sessions. They also participate in ‘fun run’ events to raise money for a variety of charities and not-for-profit causes.
Nathan’s ‘why’, his reason for dedicating his life to personal training is because he genuinely wants to inspire others to achieve more, to do more, to be healthier, fitter or stronger than they thought possible. Nathan loves helping others to achieve the impossible or what they believe is impossible. It becomes his personal challenge to break down that idea of it’s ‘impossible’ through hard work, focus, learning and changing mindsets.
How far he has come
When Nathan started out 12 years ago he admits he had no idea what he was really doing. But for someone as goal driven and motivated as Nathan is, he decided to do something about that. He completed his science degree, learnt strength and conditioning practises and completed one of the toughest training certifications in the industry; Gym Jones.
Nathan started training outdoors in the freezing cold determined not to submit to excuses. Training with industry leaders like Saracens Rugby (UK)
and Port Melbourne Football Club (VFL)(undefeated premiers in 2011) were important milestone in his journey and milestones which have lead him to be one of the best in the industry.
Nathan has now developed the perfect space for his training dream and has facilitated an amazing community of peers and clients which are the culmination of his hard work, professionalism and determination.
